This London bathroom features two frameless shower screens creating a corner entry next to a bathtub. By client request, we installed full-height clear glass panels with black U-channel fixings that complement the striking marble-style wall tiles.
These shower screens reach the full room height of 2700mm, creating a clean line from floor to ceiling. The sleek design emphasizes the beautiful marble-style tiles and creates visual continuity in the bathroom.
As requested in the design brief, we installed two shower screens - one at floor level forming a 1200mm x 900mm shower area, and another panel mounted on the bath edge.
The corner entry layout was executed according to the client's design specifications. The black U-channels secure the glass panels to the walls and ceiling, matching the black floor tiles for a cohesive look.
Both made-to-measure shower panels were fixed with black U-channels to create the frameless appearance while ensuring proper support for the 10mm clear glass panels.
Unfortunately, this is one of the cases where size matters. Shower screens should be wide enough to protect the bathroom floor from water splashes. The ideal width depends on shower head position and water pressure.
For most installations, we recommend screen widths of at least 900mm. Smaller screens may not provide enough splash protection, in which case adding a door becomes necessary for proper water containment.
