This pentagon shower enclosure in Basingstoke combines traditional style with modern glass work. The five-sided design makes the most of the corner space while the nickel fittings match the classic bathroom fixtures.
The pentagon shape creates a striking shower space that fits neatly in the corner. Our 10mm ultra clear glass provides crystal clarity that doesn't distort the traditional tile colours or add any unwanted green tint.
We fixed the glass panels with subtle U-channels that support both the wall and floor connections. The custom shower design fits perfectly with the marble shower tray and timber wall panels.
The pentagon design makes the most of the available bathroom space. Our robust 135-degree hinges open a full 90 degrees and include a centering mechanism that returns the door to its closed position.
Nickel fixtures complement the traditional style of the bathroom. We added a reinforcement bar to support the fixed panel that holds the heavy door, ensuring long-term stability for the shower enclosure.
We used our minimalistic 7mm PVC seals on the door edges for effective water containment without bulky profiles. The traditional doorknob matches the bathroom's period features while remaining practical for daily use.
